Abby is a Physician Assistant who graduated from Emory University School of Medicine with a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant studies. She is board certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is licensed in the state of Texas. She also holds a Master of Social Work degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. Abby has extensive experience in mental health and substance abuse treatment where she worked with individuals and groups in inpatient, residential, outpatient, and emergency department settings for seven years. She served in the United States Navy Reserve for eight years as an intelligence analyst. Abby continued her service to her country by working as a Physician Assistant for the Veterans Health Administration for five years in the primary care and community care service lines. She has a passion for caring for others and ensuring that all aspects of one’s health are addressed. She believes in viewing clients holistically and in focusing on the mind/body connection. Abby’s primary focus is the treatment of adults with mood disorders, PTSD, and ADD/ADHD.
