I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, along with a certificate in Play Therapy from Sam Houston State University, and an undergraduate degree in Child Development from California State University, Sacramento. I am passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate life’s transitions and challenges. As a parent, stepparent, and former educator, I understand the unique dynamics and challenges that children, parents, and blended families may face.
In my counseling practice, I take an integrative and holistic approach, tailoring my work to address each client’s individual concerns. As a Play Therapist, I incorporate both non-directive and directive approaches, working collaboratively with parents to support children aged nine and under. I am trained in sandtray therapy, play therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Brainspotting (Level 3), and have completed Level 1 of the Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
Outside the clinic, I enjoy coffee, cooking, traveling, and long walks with my dog. I cherish time with my husband and our six boys, finding joy in both family adventures and quiet moments together.
