When life feels overwhelming, it can be difficult to know where to turn. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, stress, grief, trauma, parenting stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, or concerns about your child’s well-being, you don’t have to face it alone. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, providing a warm and supportive space to explore challenges, build on strengths, and move toward healing and growth.
My passion for this work grew through years of supporting individuals across the lifespan with autism and the families who support them. That passion has continued through my work as a counselor. As a parent, I understand that life’s challenges rarely affect just one person—they impact entire families. I enjoy collaborating with parents and caregivers to help children and families thrive both in and outside of the therapy room. My goal is to help you feel empowered to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and understanding.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe exploring their experiences, developing practical coping skills, and building greater self-understanding. Together, we work to identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck and move toward meaningful change that aligns with their values and goals. I have training in Play Therapy, Sandtray Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). When working with children, I utilize both directive and non-directive play therapy approaches tailored to their unique needs and developmental level.
Outside of the counseling office, I enjoy attending my son’s baseball games, trying new restaurants, cooking, caring for my animals, and spending time with family and friends.
Therapy isn’t about having it all together; it’s about giving yourself permission to grow. Whether it’s you or your child starting this process, my role is to listen, support, and walk alongside you as you learn more about yourself and what healing looks like for you.
