There are a lot of different reasons that may have led you to be here, searching for the right therapist to help you through a difficult time. You are probably feeling a flood of different emotions as you are trying to decide whom you will share the most vulnerable parts of yourself and your life with.
Life is not always easy and neither are relationships. As humans though, we can feel comfort in the fact that we have all experienced struggles. I strive to help my clients feel like they are not alone in what they are going through and that there is hope for a better future. If you are going through a difficult time, experiencing conflict in your relationship, or even just feel stuck and unsure how to handle life, I am here to help you navigate that. The environment I seek to create for my clients is one that is non-judgmental and somewhere they feel accepted and heard. I understand how important it is to find a therapist you feel comfortable with. If you think I would be a good fit for you, please contact me and I would be happy to talk with you!
Most people want to know a little bit more about someone before doing so which is understandable. I would, too. I earned my bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies from Texas Tech University. I got my start on the research side of things by working in labs studying both couples and recovering addicts. After completing my bachelor’s, I continued on to get my master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. When I’m not seeing clients, I love to spend time with friends and family, try new restaurants, and enjoy any kind of live music.
