Supervised by Afshana Haque, PhD, LMFT-S

Christine Nguyen is a second-generation Vietnamese American with a Bachelor’s in Psychology from The University of St. Thomas in Houston and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from The University of Houston-Clear Lake. Christine is passionate about working with couples, and she is committed to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore the patterns in your relationship, helping you connect with each other more deeply. Her approach is person-centered: you are the experts of your lives, and she is here to guide and support your unique journey together.

Christine strives to bring curiosity, empathy, and openness to her work, fostering a space where you can feel comfortable exploring meaningful issues. She is also dedicated to continuous learning, inspired every day by her clients’ stories and the diverse perspectives they bring. Her goal is to foster growth for couples and individuals in a way that’s both culturally attuned and compassionate.

In her free time, she loves exploring—whether it’s discovering new places, trying different foods, or getting into new hobbies (right now, she is into cooking, jewelry making, and sculpting with air dry clay). She also enjoy checking out coffee shops, diving into the arts, and listening to a range of music from jazz and indie to pop and R&B. At home, she relaxes with my two cats, Gremlin (a lovable tabby) and Gizmo (a fluffy black cat).

If you and your partner are ready to work toward happiness, peace, and a fulfilling connection together, Christine would love to help guide you on that journey.
